Legal Workshops

We advocate learning and sharing as part of the Central Chambers culture. Over the years we have given talks and presentations to government agencies and companies on areas of contract, tort and procurement matters. These are done intended to assist their officers in understanding essential legal concepts. These help them to understand agreements being drafted in a certain manner and also, to anticipate the potential pitfalls.

Similarly, their officers learn why tortious liability can arise in written communication (e.g. defamatory material). Additionally, we conduct procurement talks for government agencies given our work for the Public Sector.

Upon requests, bespoke in-house legal training to staff members of the public and private sectors are conducted in:

PDPA

The PDPA governs the collection, use and disclosure of individual’s personal data by organisations. The PDPA is an area that has evolved continuously over the last few years and frequent updates are necessary. We have provided training for these areas.
