Mr Twang Kern Zern is an Equity Director of Central Chambers.
Since being admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in 1999, Twang has been practising general civil and commercial litigation (including mediation and arbitration) for nearly 20 years in diverse areas. These would be construction disputes, shareholders’ disputes, matrimonial disputes, air freight disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, insolvency and defamation.
Twang is a multi-disciplinary lawyer whose areas of expertise extend beyond litigation. He acts for government agencies, multi-national corporations, small and medium enterprises and individuals in the negotiation and drafting of contractual documentation, including public private partnership (PPP) agreements, construction agreements, intellectual property agreements, sponsorship agreements, franchise agreements, lease agreements, collaboration agreements, employment agreements, consultancy agreements and infrastructure agreements.
With clients in both the public and private sector, Twang also regularly advises on regulatory matters in Singapore.
Most recently, Twang had researched, co-written and co-edited Central Chambers’ contribution to "Bullen & Leake & Jacob’s Singapore Precedents of Pleadings" edited by Jeffrey Pinsler, S.C., having previously contributed to its predecessor publication, "Singapore Precedents of Pleading".
