Mr Rama began his practice in 1988 at the prominent insurance law firm, Murphy & Dunbar, before moving to Harry Elias Partnership as Head of their Insurance Department a decade later. In 2003, he moved to Acies Law Corporation setting up the Insurance Department. He remained with Acies Law Corporation until the end of 2015.
With nearly three decades of practising insurance law, Rama now heads the insurance and reinsurance practice at Central Chambers, covering dispute resolution for claims in most classes of business, and particularly the property & casualty lines listed below. Rama also specialises in an insurance advisory practice which focuses on regulatory, corporate and commercial advice for the insurance and reinsurance sector.
